Chia pudding

Chia pudding is pretty easy to make and, most of the time, the home made version tastes a lot better than the shop ones, mainly because you use what you like.

The magic proportion is 1 part chia seeds to 5 parts liquid (here, soy milk).

Ingredients

  • Chia seeds
  • Soy milk
  • Goji berries
  • Cashews
  • Vanilla powder
  • Agave syrup

Assembly

Take a jar that has a fitting lid and fill it 1/6 with chia seeds and for the rest pour in a mix of the milk, berries, vanilla and a bit of agave syrup.

Close the jar with the lid and shake it thoroughly until you see all chia seeds are floating around. If there are any clumps stuck to the jar, just open it and get them loose with a teaspoon. It is important to shake after 5 minutes and then again after another 5 minutes. In a little while it settles into a pudding.

Put cashews and anything else you might like (e.g raspberries) on top and enjoy.

Tip:
Many variations possible by just changing the flavours. If you combine the milk with cocoa powder you can make chocolate pudding.
